How affiliate links work

Some links on Daily Cats Care may be affiliate links. If you click one of these links and complete a qualifying purchase, we may earn a commission from the retailer, affiliate network, or participating company.

In general, using an affiliate link does not increase the price you pay. The retailer’s own pricing, terms, shipping charges, taxes, and return policies still apply.

Affiliate tracking and commission arrangements depend on the specific retailer or program. We cannot guarantee that every link or purchase will qualify for a commission.

Does it cost you more?

In most affiliate arrangements, you do not pay extra simply because you use our affiliate link. Any commission is generally paid to us by the retailer or affiliate program, subject to that program’s terms.

Product prices and offers can change. Always review the retailer’s current price, product details, delivery costs, and conditions before completing a purchase.

Editorial independence

We aim to make our content useful, clear, and relevant to cat owners. Affiliate relationships may provide financial support, but we do not intend for commissions alone to determine whether a product is discussed.

Where we publish product information or comparisons, our goal is to focus on relevant features, intended use, practical considerations, and information that can help readers assess their options.

An affiliate link should not be taken as a guarantee that a product is the best choice for every cat or household. Please consider your own needs and review reliable product information before deciding.

Product reviews and recommendations

Our website may feature product guides, comparisons, reviews, and recommendations related to cats and their care. The information available for each product can vary, and not every product mentioned is necessarily independently tested by us.

We aim to describe products fairly and avoid implying firsthand experience where none has occurred. Readers should check the manufacturer’s specifications, safety instructions, suitability, and current customer information before purchasing.

Product suitability can vary from one cat to another. For questions about your cat’s health, diet, or treatment, seek advice from a qualified veterinarian.

Retailers and affiliate programs

We may participate in affiliate programs offered by retailers, brands, or affiliate networks. These programs may use cookies or similar tracking technologies to attribute qualifying purchases to a referral.

When you leave Daily Cats Care through a link, you are visiting an external website. That website operates under its own terms, privacy policy, checkout process, and customer service practices.

We do not control external retailers’ inventory, prices, shipping, product availability, refunds, or fulfillment. Please contact the relevant retailer for order-related questions.

How we disclose affiliate relationships

Where applicable, we aim to identify affiliate links or relevant commercial relationships in a clear and noticeable way near the related content or link. This page provides additional information about our general affiliate practices.

The exact wording or placement of a disclosure may vary depending on the page, link, platform, and applicable requirements.

If you are unsure whether a particular link is an affiliate link, you can contact us for clarification.

Advertising and sponsored content

Daily Cats Care may display advertising or publish sponsored content in the future or where such arrangements are in place. Advertising and sponsorships are distinct from ordinary editorial content and affiliate links.

Where required, paid placements or sponsored material should be identified accordingly. The presence of an advertisement does not by itself mean we endorse every claim made by an advertiser.

Accuracy and changing information

We make reasonable efforts to present helpful information, but product descriptions, availability, prices, specifications, promotions, and retailer policies may change without notice.

We cannot guarantee that all information remains current or that every external listing is complete or error-free. Check details directly with the manufacturer or retailer before making a purchase.

Your responsibility as a reader

Your purchasing decisions are your own. Before buying, consider your budget, your cat’s individual needs, product instructions, ingredients where relevant, and the seller’s policies.

Content on Daily Cats Care is for general informational and educational purposes. It is not a substitute for professional veterinary advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

Privacy and tracking

Affiliate programs and external websites may use cookies or other tracking technologies to measure referrals, attribute purchases, or operate their services. Their handling of information is governed by their own privacy practices and policies.

For information about how this website may handle information and cookies, please read our Privacy Policy.

We may update this Affiliate Disclosure as our website, business practices, affiliate relationships, or applicable requirements change. Updates will be reflected on this page.
